So I have some flowers and plants on my porch. There is a huge tree next to my porch.
I noticed that the tree is infested (a good thing I think) with ladybugs.
I wanted to know if it would be a good idea to wrangle some and put them into my flower pots and planters?
How can I convince them to chill in my pots and not in that tree? Is there anything other than Aphids that they are attracted to? Something I can lure them with? Or should I just kidnap the little helpers? Will they stay where I want them if I "relocate" them?
Fdd...if you come by this thread...I know you did the ladybug thing....you may be able to help. But all replies would be helpful.
I bought some lady bugs and tried them out. I felt bad everytime I had to put the container back in the fridge . I think I got a bad batch because most of them didn't really hunt for food they just kinda walked in circles around the pot edge, or just sat there ontop of the big fan leaves. So lazy.
