my wife planted this last fall. i kept it inside all winter. i tried to flower it in my flower room and veg room. couldn't get it to happen. moved it outside into bigger pots with better drainage. they took off.

Yes you can smoke it and its really not that bad. You dont get a buzz like weed but it has a slight sedative effect. It would probably make a good substitute for someone trying to quit tobacco. Personally i really like the smell of catnip, it kinda reminds me of a weed smell, mainly because its just a really pungent plant.
