Man that orchid is bad ass - Hardly ever see them that colour round here!
Do you know what kind it is? - Flower looks kinda like a Cymbidium but the rest of the plant looks different to the ones we got round here...

The Tillandsia growing around it looks cool too! Good ol' Spanish Moss lol, that stuff grows awesome in the bathroom, loves the humidity haha

yeah thanks dude! i forgot the scientific name of the orchid but un hawaii, everthing groes easy man. noticed the tillandsia too huh?! Haha ..in hawaii we call it " Peles' hair". Pele is the valcano goddess of hawaii in hawaiian folklore yeah we grow that stuff like crazy here..alohas!

Hawaii must have some pretty crazy pot crops haha. Awesome to see someone growing some other plants rather than just weed lol ... The more plants you grow, the better you become at growing! lol

i just received "hawaii's bamboo orchid plant" that'll b planted this weekend

btw, does your orchid grow without any care?

pretty much nature does everything... But once in awhile I foilar feed them with leftover nutes after I'm done watering my "Garden of Eden"..other than that, nature does everything else....I guess I am lucky I live in Hawaii peace.........

the pakalolo i've had in hawaii was in a class all to itself, nothing like anything i've had on the mainland. i don't know if they still have it but they used to have something called "elephant weed" which was very much like taking acid, lasted all day from only 2-3 puffs

haven't seen that in a long time. Hawaii got some real good stuff but lot of our stuff is exported and a lot of bunk gets imported.....go figure?!Also alot of commercial growers grow the good shit for thier own personal use and grow something that has high yield to sell on the streets..But as far as conditions for growing, it's tough to beat hawaii climate.you can get up to 4 seasons outdoors
