Default Correct environment for Mint plants

My mint plant just sprouted out of the soil last week but it hasnt grown much since then. Can anyone tell me what the ideal light cycle & nvironment should be? At the moment Ive kept it next to my Blueberry mother plant (18hrs lights on/6hrs lights off).

Mint cannot be too soggy and loves light. Be careful because once mint takes hold it can be very invasive.

What about light cycles is 18/6 ok?
