i have catnip in my grow. i grows in my veg room under some t-12 tubes, it grows under my 400w hps, it grows on the floor in the cast off light from either one if thats all the room i have at the moment.

i bet if i tried to kill it i couldnt. it gets mostly water but every month or so i feed it with runoff from my veg room. it clones very easily, you can also split a plant and repot the two seperatly and they grow fine.

i bought the saddest little catnip plant from the pet store a year ago and now i have 2 huge ones that are going outside this spring and 3 little ones. i plan on giving them out as gifts to fellow cat owners.

I grow mine outside. It's everywhere. Every spring I dig up the rogues and put them back in the cat nip area.

Maybe this year I'll bring a rogue inside so the cats can have fresh nip in the winter time.

When it starts to form flower buds, chop it back, that will make it bush out more. Keep chopping it too. Once it flowers, it seeds and gets kind of shitty and eventually dies off for the year. You can dry the bud parts that you chopped off for your kitty, or just give it out fresh, either way.

Sounds like my monster house panther. Hes not willing to give up his chair and he makes you think twice about moving him being that hes about 23lbs and can put his nose on the kitchen counter standing on his hind legs. Plus that extra thumb on his front paws makes him look like hes got hands, hands which love to tear off a nice pinch of catnip whenever he gets a chance, washing it down of course with some nice refreshing aquarium water. lol
