hey whats up everyone well i want to start some seeds this year for my legal garden, most of the plants are going to be my grandmothers as she love plants but now n days doesnt really have all the energy she used to so i though i would do the gardening for her this year.................

ok so my question is can any1 tell me what seeds i can use at this time?

i live in los angeles, california and i want to plant some of everything flowers, fruits, and veggies

any help greatly appriciated

HI JDM Love. I live in the South and trying to start some seeds for the garden also.Its still a little to cold to get them to sprout. The medium I'm using just isn't warm enough.To start seeds your growing medium needs to be 70 degrees to 80. If the medium isn't warm enough the seeds want sprout.

if your in cali, you can plant just about everything dude 60+degrees F.... your good to go

It looks like CA is all Zone 8 or up on the gardening hardiness map. I'd say if it's not getting below freezing you're good to plant anything.

Some types of flowers (columbines, hollyhocks, etc.) require whats called stratification (a cold season to help the seeds germinate) this can be done by putting the seeds in the refrigerator for 3 or 4 weeks before planting.

hey everyone .............well i put the green beans, tomatos, and grass(its for my cat ) in the jiffy pelets and under my cfl's on friday and they all popped and were out of the pelets on sunday and yesterday all out all looking nice and healthy green now im just gonna let them grow a little and then put them outside ima plant more seeds soon

When you move them out, do it gradually so they don't get sun burnt.
