Hey guys...
I have used Kratom twice in the past and I'm interested in growing it.

I read on several sites that Kratom is generally hard to grow from seeds, so its easier to purchase a plant and/or clone it. I also read that Kratom loves hot, humid and tropical conditions....

So here is my question: Is it possible to grow Kratom AND marijuana in the same grow room?
Or does Kratom need a more tropical climate?
...OR... i heard Kratom is a super hardy plant...can it be grown to a decent size and then treated like a typical houseplant?

Anyone who has grown Kratom before plz help me out. Thanks

No, but I am very interested in it also. Any idea of where to get a plant? or seeds? I've been looking into starting an enthobotanical garden in my backyard, and that would be a great addition. I've also been looking into The Dream Herb.

But what i CAN help you with a lil bit is Kratom. i read that the hardest part of growing kratom is to get the actual seeds to germinate and take. i also read the best bet someone has.... is to grow Kratom from a clone or buy the actual plant itself.

Hey, I don't think there is any reason you can't have both of them going in the same room. However, be warned that kratom is not a great thing to grow, because the leaves are weak from new trees. The commercial kratom on the market almost all comes from very old trees.

ooh, i like this thread, rite up my street! i grow caelia zactachechi (spelt wrong) and salvia. Both are very easy to grow, theyre just on my windowsill!
as for kratom, iv never grown it, but all i can say is dont belive when the net tells you. cz is supposed to be near damn impossible to germinate, with an average rate of 1 in 100 seeds, and it supposed to be very tricky to grow. i beg to differ. i planted 10 seeds, and i got 2 germinations from them, and its so easy to grow its mental. all i do is water it, and it grows crazy.

Ive done ALOT of research on this plant...and u are 100% correct....it is VERY trickey to grow, with about 1 in 100 seeds germinating...
