ok im thinkin of startin a poppy grow. so lemme get the facts straight. the kind i wanna be growing is Papaver somniferum i think. correct me if im wrong plz. now im wondering where i can buy these seeds from in canada. can they be grown outdoors in the climate? how long are the flowering periods? and yeah thats all i can think of to ask right now. any advice would be great for a noob. thanks guys.

eBay for the seeds. You can get thousands for a few dollars. I got 30 grams of seeds for $10.

And it depends on what your growing the poppy for. If you want more opium then P. Somniferum is for you. There are other poppies that will produce more morphine, codeine, thebaine, etc
