hey all, due to recent events i had to shut down my op. it was only a small closet grow. but i like watching things grow and then harvesting. i just want to grow something again. anyone have any ideas. whats pretty easy and are all things the same as weed. like 24/0 lighting to veg for 2 months or whatever then switch to 12/12 for flower?

im growing california wonder peppers, cilantro, and a couple other herbs. Catnip and catgrass for the felines and a couple of annuals that im going to transplant to the walkway this spring. tomatos can also grow like mj...

what do you mean can grow like mj? and would you use the same kind of nutes like fox farm? would that be ok

I mean that yes, it can use the same light schedule / nutes....similar conditions to growing mj...I use the same nutes for SOME of my plants, others dont need certain nutes. plants that bear fruit or vegs are pretty similar

infact my vegs and herbs are in the same rooms...

i have a large garden starting in my room for the same reason you are. i have tomatos(red, striped, and cherry), red habanero, red and yellow strawberries, thai yellow egg, salvia, poppy, and a sunflower. everything seems to be doing good under hps and cfl

pepper plants don't (or at least i can't tell) rely on a light schedule, they'll grow until they mature, usually takes about 3 months, then they just start growing peppers and will continue to make peppers as long as you take care of the plant and pick those peppers. So if you do it right you can have a continual harvest.

usually between may and october keep them out side and in the winter i keep it inside under a couple of cfs for 16-18 hours of light.
