Default question about poppies

i have 4 poppy seedlings right now (papaver somniferum), but i can grow 50 if need be.

so my question is if i grow them to full size (they'll be outdoor in large containers) how much dried O can i expect to get from them?

i'd like to get several grams worth, how many plants would i need?

i understand there are a lot of variables but what would be a middle of the road rough estimate of how many plants to get a reasonable (say 1/4-1/2 oz raw dried) quantity of opium?

i know how cannabis yields... but i have no idea about poppies, like one medium-large pod, how much O would you get off that?

it takes a stupid amount to get just a couple grams. maybe if you cover your entire yard...

Na man i dont grow, it never sounded plausable in my sit but i know they grow it in massive feilds for a reason, it would take an ooober amount of plants for it to seem worth your time/effort/cost in my opinion... Thats why i just grow herb If u just wanna grow something different start up a shroom farm......then send me some free shrooms.....please?? Lol

i do have poppies. do a search on it. it takes alot of em to get a tiny bit of opium extract. i was gonna do the same until i read into it

yeah i've been to that same site, they are talking about opium extract which is a refined form of ope, i doubt any of us have smoked that.

im just talkin raw, sorry not tryin to beat with a dead horse, just wanted to know if someone grew like 10 plants and what they got out of it.

i want personal experience not something i read off an article.

srry i dont have personal experience but there was a thread on this a couple months back with a good discussion on it. try to look it up.
