we had this old flower box. it doesn't get the best of sun but still gets a little. nothing had been in it for a few years so the wife had some potatoes with eyes growing on them. she just threw them on top of the soil. after a couple weeks they started growing so i buried them. we've had potatoes ever since.
i love the walnut sized ones. sooooooooo sweet and tender. and bite sized.

nice i want one
i like red potatoes....ill take a wet paper towel, load the potatoe with my favorite spices while still wet from cleaning. then wrap the paper towel around the potatoe and microwave for 4-5 mins damn, potatoes are good and good for ya...........yum,yum

how deep do you need to bury them? Whats the size of that box ur using?

Could you grow them indoors under artificial light, and would you have to use soil as a medium?

i bury them about 6 - 8" deep. the box is about 20" x 40" and 12" deep. they only get a little foliage above ground so maybe with florescences?
