they haven't bloomed yet. I'll try to get some pics up this week. There are 5 of them, all include about 3-5 stalks with medium-green leaves. No flowers yet.

I think I might just stake them this summer, and dig around them. Bring in some better top soil and do like Chiceh suggested and bring the soil up around the base.

I'll get some pics, wish me luck

I don't know if you are staying orgainc on the roses, but I found Bayer (the asprin comapny) systemic rose control, works better than anything I have seen. It kills all the bugs that eat the leaves and feeds a perfect mix. I have 20 6' roses in my yard and they all suffered before I found this now they have huge blooms and no bugs or spots. It is not in any way organic but it is granular and only is applied monthly.
