wild roses are easy; they grow wild, and seem to be hardier than any other (including jackson and perkins varieties) and can take almost anything. also, every wild rose i know of is a climber, so keep that in mind for placement and training.

they haven't bloomed yet. I'll try to get some pics up this week. There are 5 of them, all include about 3-5 stalks with medium-green leaves. No flowers yet.
I think I might just stake them this summer, and dig around them. Bring in some better top soil and do like Chiceh suggested and bring the soil up around the base.
