these are about 3 weeks old,what are those brown spots,and the drying on the leaves like def.

Just looks like leaf fungus to me. Sometimes because of the humidity like in a glasshouse, though on my tomatoes its because of the rain and heavy dews in the morning. Fungisides would take care of it.
