What type of habanero is it?

I love those peppers, but I've never been successful getting them to bear fruit indoors. All I can do is get them to flower. Then the flowers just fall off. Any suggestions?

I've been growing Hybrid hot chili..and Scotch bonnets..... Love them...plus they like my pot food big time......

I've noticed the flowers starting to fall off as well, hope I get more. It's capsicum chinense. I've been feeding them my weed nutes (I will pick up some Chili Focus for ferts tho). I've also been using a vibrator (actually an electric razor) to vibrate the plants because I know there are some plants you have to do that to (unless you bring bees or insects in to do the pollination). I'll have to check around and see if I can find some more info - she's really starting to throw lots of flowers out now and I'd like to see some more peppers. I did just the one plant to see if it would work. I also have Cal Wonder Pepper, and Joe E. Parker Chili Pepper along with some Crimson Sprinter Tomato - all organic from Gardens Alive.

looks like you got some over nute problems... notice the "crinkling" of the leaves??? back off of the fertilizer... other than that, it looks good... i lost all of my habanero last week when we got a hard frost....had about 30large peppers i was waiting to mature, and the frost killed em and made the peppers mushy...
some hot little bastards... what do you plan to do with em?

You can polinate better with a q-tip... Ignore the flowers that look droopy...

Start at one flower and go around the plant with the q-tip until you come back to the first flower...

Vibration will only pollinate the lower flowers as the pollen drops down...
To get the top flowers you will need to do this or use a small fan in conjunction with the vibration...

Thanks for the tip, I gotta cut back on the smoke. Of course the flowers are pointed down so any vibration will cause pollen to drop. I like the idea of using a q-tip better - less chance of giving the plant an unwanted haircut (I have an electric toothbrush, but I'll be damned if I can find the charger). I also read that temps below 60 or above 90 are bad. I plan on drying the peppers when done and using the powder for cooking (mainly pasta type dishes and chili).

I use bread sometimes too (along with the milk). The good thing with hot peppers is the more you eat, the less it burnz . I was hoping my other girls would get jealous when they saw how hot she was and step up bud/resin production
