| | Growing Peppers in Containers | | Even though I have shifted my growing from veggies to flowers the past few years, this season I am growing some Jackpot hybrid yellow peppers in containers outdoors.
I started the plants indoors under floros and MH in late Feb.
They have been flowering for awhile now and one pepper is forming.
It has been too cold here so far and as a result the pepper plants are dropping off their flowers before peppers set.....
Anyone else growing peppers?
If so what are your fave strains?

| | ive got some green, red and jalapeno peppers as well as some banana something peppers i think they were called. all my bushes are short and just starting to get flowers.
all mine are planted in the garden, which sucks because they have been taking a beating from some outdoor pests. |

| | wow Wavels, those peppers are doing great. looks like they're in some good company too.
i'm going to grow mine out in the garden, prob some banana and typical bell peppers.
what's an easy jalapeño to grow?
also, does anyone know what kind of peppers papa john's puts in with their pizzas? i love those things but i can't remember the name..

| | last season i grew a regular green jalapeno bush. that bush had so much fruit that I couldnt eat them all. I ended up giving half of my crop away.
they were so easy to grow, especially if you pick them up as seedlings from lowes or some where like that. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
