I also like to grow cactus, would it be ok if i were to put some in the grow room with my weed plants? No chance of them contaminating my weed or anything?
Ive never grown cactus under lights any tips would be great help

i have an easter/christmass cacti i am growing. good thing with these cactus are they require a 12/12 dark period too produce flowers.

they also like a fairly humid climate and weed also likes a litle humidity also.
i have 3x cuttings o the window sill and once roots formed they shall be going into my veg/flower cab.

to what i have learnt easter cacti grow in damp forrests, others grow in deserts where water is at a low.

my easter cacti are feeding every 2 weeks and my weed ever 3 days

i am trying this too... i have some smale agaves (not sure which kind) and one other unknown cactus cuttings that i have put inside under the lights cause its gonna be gettin chilly soon and they are lil guys.... they seem to be doing okay, but i stick em outside in the daytime when i am home;

but to answer your question, cacti can easily be grown indoors; and no, they wont mess with your weed plants

Thanks for the help guys, i got 4 different cactus all very small, im going to put them with my weed. Lights are on 24/7 atm is that ok for the cactus thats been used to sitting on the widow sill for the last 3 months?

cute lil guys.... i like the one at the top, is it a crassula??? looks neat regardless... all i can say about keeping them under 24hr light is if they start to look kinda sick for no obvious reason, then take em out for awhile... if not, then enjoy your cacti-weed garden

be warned they grow into monstars

the one below needs a transplant it is root bound and showing heavy yellowing scars now. i always try too re-pot into a container atleast twice the diamiter of the cactus, i was feeding them a MG pour and feed liquid. they now started too be given babybio 10:4:1.7, they get in 1lt ( 2 pints) 4 drops.

hello i did this as well i love the cactis . one thing i will say it will quicken up the life cycle of the plants.but it is well worth it if you want them to get a bit healthier or to flower.
pic 1-is a california cactus i think it is the same as yours tamzi
pic 2 & 3 -is a messcal
beautiful flowers but they only last like 2 days then die LOL
