Since it's increasingly hard to find a good tomato in the store I thought I shoudl grow some of my own since I have spare equipement.. Do I need to do a whole seperate reasearch project for that, or can I do the same thing I did with the MJ?

Ive found tomatoes will thrive in most conditions theyre not too fussy, heavy feeders, will be quite happy on the ferts you use for ya ganja, be carefull if you got em in with ya ganja plants tho because they will soon take over the grow room.

I have a potato growing in a pot right with my weed plants.

I too am planning on a whole vegi garden for the winter there is nothing like a good hot home made salsa for Christmas dinner LMAO. till the heat dies down here at my crib

Now thats one thing iv never grown is spuds lol garlic is good to grow in your grow room, it deters a whole heap of insects.

Tomatoes are very close genetically to pot, so the answer to your question is Yes; you can grow tomatoes in the same fashion as a pot plant with all of the same equipment.

If you're ever in a hydroponics store, just say "I grow tomatoes" and they'll know exactly what you mean! haha

tomatoes and mj are very close and you shouldn't have any problems applying mj info and techniques to tomatoes. Good Luck and enjoy!

does anybody else have anymore information on this, i think it would be awesome to cook up some indoor tomatoes. would they like 18/6 lighting?
