I don't know why, but this has me ROFLMFAO. Such a sweet idea. I've pondered it but feel I would go through way too many fish!

The only thing I would have done differently is named one Masta Beta! LOL!

I wish I could set up a big tank, fill it up with trout and run a garden of of it... but not in my hotel room... LOL

So far the seedlings are doing well, but I have not learned to stabilize the system ...

The most important part of the system is the bacteria that processes the fish shit into plant food... and they are tricky... too much and you kill the fish and the plants... too little and you kill the fish and the plants...

I guess I am not a good bacteria grower yet... but the fish & the plants are still alive... LOL

Well Solo, you are not alone... sometimes I look around me and just burst LOL... it is some funny shit...

Yeah... it is deff. not as simple as throwing some fish in a tank... You will kill both fish and plants..

Aquaponic's environmental requirements are very different than Hydro...

Ph levels and temperatures are established for the bacteria, and the plants and fish sort of compromise... it's just different...

I thought about it... believe me.. but I think I will be going through fish before I get a hang of this bacteria thing.... plus it sounded more scientific...

Well, Here we are... another update....

I will try to keep things a little more current around here... sorry...

Beta got a little sick, I think from lack of bacteria due to low ph...

So, I made the decision to move all the seedlings into another mini DWC tray...

Everyone is healthy and happy now...
