I got tired of trying to find smoke and paying a fortune to get just rag weed so now i am on a mission! I already have an aerogarden pro 200 and i ordered some Master Kush seeds and they should be here in about 1 1/2 weeks. I ordered new bulbs for my aero ( my other ones are old) and i also ordered the nuts for the cherry tomatoes. I know that i need to get a stone and air pump. rambling...sorry. My setup is

-6 Golf balls (Only growing one plant)
-1 one inch airstone -_-

The plant has 12 leaves now, 2 big bottom ones, 2 big top leaves, 8 smaller leaves coming up from the middle. I clean out the reservoir every week with clean filtered water and have just started half aerogarden nutrient tabs two weeks ago. Everything was going fine however a few days before this week began, I noticed the two bottom leaves were starting to turn brown at the tips, and now the two bottom leaves are speckled brown with the tips pretty much completely brown. The roots have turned a slight yellowish tint and seem to be bonding together by a clear slimy substance (algae?). My question is how can I fix this. I have read you can wash the roots under tap water? I have also read just flush and add 2-3 tsp's of hydrogen peroxide to the res? Please help as I was counting on this to be my xmas bud!!!!!! I was thinking about putting some water/nutrients into another reservoir higher than the ag and run a tube into it. Would this work? how could I keep the water from overflowing the AG reservoir?

I have an aerogarden 3 mini with bag seed plants going. I have 5 CFL lights + the aerogarden light. I have foxfarm nutrients (didnt add them for the first two weeks like guide says)and i have a pH test kit and the pH is inbetween the 4.5-7.5 range (see pic - approx 6). I have the lights around 4 inches or more away.

I started it on November 3rd. Plants were doing great and they have a large root system going until about November 11 when the plants started to get little burn like marks on the leaves and then on Nov 12 it started drooping, and now it looks like this! Help please!

I don't have a degree in computer science but I do have a pretty green thumb. I had a bunch of seeds leftover that I doubted would germinate because they were so old, (some maybe four to five years old), and now I have two A/G's full of seedlings.

Half are the shortest, bushiest, greenest M/J plants I've ever seen and the others are twice as tall, not quite as dense, very green, with red stems to the leaves. Does anyone have any idea what's growing in my A/G? They're all healthy and happy so I'm not complaining. I planted them on the 5th. of October and I'm going to try to force blooming in about another week after I cut off some clones. Any ideas? The roots have become an entangled mess so I want to do three things; one, even out the tops by pruning them to equal heights so that I can keep the light adjusted evenly on all of them. Two, I want to prune the big upper leaves so the lower ones can get the light also and three, I just pruned the roots off by by about 1/3. I've done this before and had good luck. Was it just dumb luck the first time? It's a common practice with potted dwarf citrus trees that's why I wasn't afraid to try it the first time.

As soon as I'm positive which are the girls and which are the boys I'll separate them and thin them out. I planted them on Oct. 5th. and they're all doing very well. I plan to start the flowering formula next week and allow one female and one male to give me seeds in a separate grow area. Your comments and advice please. They're doing good so far Ive had a problem with nute burn and now I think I'm having a problem with mg def. My stems are turning a bit purple and a few of the older leaves turned yellow over night.

Oh a bit more info, I have 6 plants I couldn't find fem diesel ryder so I planted 6 so I hopefully get 3 females... I germed 2 white rhino fem. seeds on Sunday Nov. 1st and Planted them on Tuesday Nov. 3rd.

I have NOT used any Nutrients yet just filtered water. PH is 5.0-6.0

I got the AG Deluxe white on a table in a medium sized closet with fans blowing to keep the temp down.

got a 6 in airstone providing my bubbles

Lights - I accidentally broke the middle AG hood grow bulb (opps) but im still using the other 2 stock bulbs in the AG hood.

I added 4 Dual spectrum II Vegetative CFL lights (85w 6500k each) that I got from Stealth Hydro

Im on 20/4 light schedule right now and will switch to 12/12 when I reach 11-13inches tall.

when I flower I will swap out the 4 vegetative CFLs for 4 Flowering CFLs (85w 3000k)

Just wanted to share my grow, no real journal but a couple pictures.
I'm going some GDP plants from clones using a T5 Fixture, the aerogarden hood and some CFL's.
I'm probably going to bud with a 150wHPS and the T5 with flowering bulbs, we will see though, time will tell. (And finances, unfortunantly.)

But here they are. About 2 weeks old.

Edit:BTW the flying tags have been replaced with squares of mylar taped to the aerogarden base.
