I am new to hydroponics, to be honest not sure what it's called.
I have a 600w light over 9 plants. Plants are in 6in pots I think sitting in a 3'x4' tray with a drain hole sitting on top of a black 50 gal. Or so res. I have an air stone in the res and a pump on a timer the runs water from the res. In a single 1/2" line with individual lines going to stakes in the pots.
I have been running the water to the plants for 30 minutes every 1.5 hours. I was supposed to move them to another location weeks ago considering they are 2.5 months in my place. My grow space is very limited.
I battle temperature and humidity. But thus far my plants have thrived. Two weeks ago I topped them and put them on 12 and12 . Again it's just because of circumstances and timing that I topped them at that time.
All of them except 1 have grown like crazy one didn't grow at all where I topped it. Now for two days its been dropping all the leaves straight down.
The one plant only is dying I think. They're some fruit fly type bugs.

My thinking is the small pots root bound it now it's rotting. Oh the medium is grow stones.
It's just affected the one plant.
Hydrogen peroxide? Just get aqua shield tomorrow?
Also I have springtails in the res.
If the pics are sideways I apologize.

THANKS

Hi everyone, 80% of my plants are stunted. Majority of them are 6 weeks old in 40 oz. paper cups. They do not look like they are older than 2 weeks based on their size which is abnormal. The other 20% of the plants are very healthy, regular growth etc. Same 40 oz coainter. They have responded well to fertilizer and everything. My problem is this, why are the plants soooooo stunted, I mean.... they look like they are seedlings still when they are 6 weeks old. The 80% have "newer" promix in the cups but the other 20% have a different batch of promix. It's odd how the newer batch of soil all the plants are stunted as hell. When the seedlings were started everything was good up until the 2nd week mark, that's when some continued to grow, others not. Which is alarming because this has never happened to me in 8 years. Any idea, what's up? This was all artificial growing up until last week....

Hey guys whats going on?

I am on day 4 of my NL auto and Skunk #1 Auto grow and things are going decent.... I did have a slight overwatering problem on Monday, but the soil is seeming to dry up pretty nicely and they are continuing to grow. They are in 5 Gal buckets with FFOF with a mix of extra perilite and a small amount of vermiculite. Right now they are around 24" or so away from a 600w MH. I have just watered them with pH'd water so far, no nutes yet. Thinking of using General Organic's BioRoot next week to help with root growth. Both strains are by Sensi seeds, there are 5x NL's and 3x Skunk #1's. All of the Skunk's look absolutely perfect, and most all of the plants are beginning to form their third set of leaves today, except for one NL which germinated but still hasn't poked her head above ground, either an extremely slow grower or shes done for. might start germinating another Skunk #1 in the next few days if the NL doesn't pop up, which sucks, because I was most excited about the NL.

Anyways.... Here is my issue, if it even is an issue, might just be a little too critical right now. Anyways, today, I noticed on two of my NL's that the veins of the second set of leaves are slightly yellow, the leaves are still green however there looks to be tiny yellow lines on the leaves around the veins. Not sure if this had anything to do with the overwatering episode from the other day or what? Both are just starting on their third set of leaves, and other than that look pretty healthy, I will know a little more tomorrow once I can really see the third set of leaves and look at the new growth. The stem between the soil and the cotyledons was a little bit stretchy, so I moved some soil from the topsoil around the rim of the bucket and put some soil about halfway up to the cotyledons, will this be okay for seedlings this small? I am planning on adding extra soil once I reach the third or fourth node.

I really would like to know about the slight yellow lines on/around the veins on my second set of leaves of my NL's, I am sorry I do not have a picture, my phone died while I was checking them today, so I will have to get back with pics and an update tomorrow, but if anyone has any thoughts or suggestions off the top of your heads, please let me know, any and all help is greatly appreciated! Anything I can do to help at all? Or is this even an issue, considering it is barely visible unless you are right up on them, and it may just be the newer growth, not too sure.

This is not my picture, but I would say it looks similar to this, maybe a LITTLE bit more defined yellow, but that is pretty close and my seedlings are about at the exact same stage as the one pictured here. Thanks very much everybody, I greatly appreciate all of your help!

Hello,
I am a beginner grower and am experiencing an issue with my plants. These plants got their first nutrient feeding about 4 days ago, I am using Foxfarm. It seems like the yellowing of the leaves on the bigger one has been spreading up faster in the last couple days. I have 3 other clones the same size that are not having this issue. The seedlings got half the nutrients the clones did, and they started drooping about 2 or 3 days ago. The tips are burnt a tiny bit. Maybe I gave them too much? I use tap water, and do not check or adjust the ph. I have done this with two previous grows, which were also outdoor, and did not experience problems. This is the first time I have used foxfarm nutrients though, so maybe that has something to do with it. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thank you.

Hello all, this is my first post on here, as well as my first grow. I know I jumped into somewhat advanced waters (no pun intended) by choosing DWC as my first grow, but that's just the way I am.

Anyway, I have a small space to grow in. 5 feet tall, 4 feet wide, and 2 feet deep. Inside are two, 6-site DWC tubs that are homemade, a 400W HPS w/ 6in. air cooled hood. Each side of the hood has an 80cfm in-line fan. The room itself has one 80cfm fan pulling air in the bottom, and another pulling hot air out the top. The room stays at 78 degrees during the day and 70 at night (Fahrenheit).

The tubs have 8 gallons of RO water in them, with an airstone and aquarium heater in each one. The water stays 69.8 degrees F. The pH stays between 5.5 and 6.0. I am using Cyco Nutrients Grow A/B (NPK 6-4-4 combined), and supplemented with Cal-Mag. PPM reading of 550 (3 TBSP nutes, 70ml Cal-Mag).

I currently have 8 plants growing (all from clone). 2 Blue Dreams, 2 Jack Herer's, 2 Skywalker OG, 1 Casey Jones, and 1 Pandora's Box.

Below are some pictures of the problem plants( except for the healthy Blue Dream in the 3rd pic), I hope you all have some advice!

I just noticed these sacks in two of my plants. They are supercritical auto on day 58 from sprout, so finishing quite late considering they are supposed to be 7 week start to finish. If they are indeed pollen sacks do i just destroy them or harvest the whole plant. They are in a tent with 7 autos in total.

Hello! Ok, so my plants are about a month old and I am running the lights 18 hours a day and growing in light soil. I recently lowered the PH and have not given nutes in about a week. The first set of straight leaves are browning and looking like they are going to fall off. My big concern is newer leaves are yellow and I am starting to see brown spots on the edges of the newer leaves. Just today I noticed one of the older green leaves is developing a small brown spot in the middle of it. Also, two of my plants have a couple claw leaves. I am having a hell of a time figuring out what it is and do not want to run too many experiments on my babies. Any advice is appreciated.
