What Classifies a Grow as Organic?

I hear the term organic used all the time by growers. I guess I would like a little clarity on what exactly constitutes an organic grow.

If you use nutrients can you still be organic? If yes, are there some that aren't considered organic?

Are all Foxfarm products safe for organic gardening?

If pesticides or fungicides are needed how can you use them while remaining organic? Are some better than others as far as organic gardening goes?

Im sure its not just me that has wondered this before so any positive feedback would be greatly appreciated.

for some reason when i mention these ways of giving organic nutrients, people think im crazy.

eggs and soda arent bad nutrients. veg=eggs, flowering=soda. eggs keep all your leaves dark green and flourishing. soda has a lot of phosphoric acid in it, which the plant turns into phosphorus. you can srsly grow a successful plant with just eggs and soda i promise.

when i get around to taking pics, ill post my plant which was fed eggs thru veg and just recently started giving it soda, about a week ago. its been flowering for a while though, i just couldnt figure out what to give it. for a long long time its buds stayed super tiny, then when i started giving it soda its buds are getting a lot bigger and danker everyday.

I saw an official Canna Coco thread in the General marijuana growing section, but couldn't find one just for the organic BioCanna line of nutes and soil anywhere, so here it is. For those using...

BioTerra/plus soil
BioVega veg nutes
BioFlores flowering nutes
Rhizotonic
Cannazym
BioBoost
and even PK 13/14

Discuss!

I've been using the nutes in all of my grows, but have only had the $ to spring for a small bottle of Boost before, and I'll be using PK 13/14 for the first time on my current grow #4, although this one isn't from the totally organic line.

I usually cut the BioTerra plus with something even though I know you're not supposed to. I'm still trying to find a happy mixture and will be trying 5 different soil mixes on Grow #5...but one is a layer of Cocodan Croutons mixed in and 1" on the bottom to see if that works with straight BioTerra.

okay so i went a little crazy and bought lots of organic supplies. I'm germinating some seeds. here's all what i'm working with.

1.Earth Juice Grow, Catalyst, Bloom, Microblast, Meta-K, natural ph up and down
2.Earth Nectar and Ambrosia
3.Alaska fish fert
4.Mexican Bat Guano
5.Indonesian Bat Guano
6.Jamaican Bat Guano
7.Peruvian seabird guano
8.worm castings
9.organic potting soil
10.perlite
11. Chicken shit
12. Algamin Kelp Meal

the guanos i'm thinking i will use for teas at different stages of life. the medium i'm thinking of transplanting the seedlings into would be organic potting soil, perlite, worm castings, and chicken shit(granular). i will be giving them doses of nutrients on top of this. the nutes will be a mix of ej products(will only use meta-k and microblast when and if necessary),. i will have guano teas so they may not be necesssary. What would you do if you had all this stuff? i mean in terms of mixture because i'm not going to say i'm clueless, but i could use some help here.

thanks and
