Hey guys,

This story is long so I will shorten it up a bit. When I first met "Betty" I was not smoking pot. As the years have gone by I started smoking and growing so I would not have to buy it. We've been dating for 5 years and I smoked all through high school and then stopped for a while. Its been about 2 years since I started up again and now I really want to tell her I smoke. I haven't because I don't know what shes going to think.

Now please don't ridicule me for lying to her and all that jazz. I just want your honest opinion about how to tell her the right way and the best way.

I seen this documentary on t.v. the other day. It basically explained about how quickly major cities--without human interruption--would fall victim to the ravishes on nature. Essentially, after a few hundred years most of the evidence of a human civilization would be gone. And after a thousand or more years most of all the evidence would be gone--apart from a few monumental structures like the Crazy Horse mountain in South Dakota.
Now after a while I started to think....... If humans have been around from 100 to 200 thousand years, (which I think is up for speculation) then there is room for multiple civilizations for which we cannot account for. Maybe even one as advanced as ours or maybe greater; that perhaps was wiped out by some sort of cataclysmic event: i.e. asteroid, ice-age, what have you. I dunno roll up a fat dub and giver' a tink.

Some people say they don't believe in the hype of religion, anytype of God, any afterlife where we meet up and re-unite. Although you tell them a ghost story and they believe they've seen something supernatural and all that jizz. If they believe in ghosts haunting around the earth, that would mean there would be some kind of afterlife, in a higher spiritual realm. God, or no god. Just thinking all these people I've met like this are pretty stupid. lol.

OK, first off, much of this post is plagiarized from PadawanBater and is about developing suggested rules.

I know, but I gotta do it.

We've had too many threads already that just turn into garbage because everyone is free to post whatever they want.

So I'm going to ask everyone who decides to post in this thread to PLEASE HELP DEVELOP THE RULES AND THEN RESPECT THEM.

2. Please keep in mind the rules of the thread with each post you make

3. In order to make your words understandable to others, please keep your posts limited to one double spaced paragraph, and try to communicate clearly and simply using as few words as possible (imagine you are explaining your opinion to a child)

4. Every thread can be unique, and it shows US ALL we all have the power to direct our realities through writing, and gives us a goal to work towards.

5. Please use your 24 hour editing ability to make your point civilly rather than spewing with spittle a closed-ear, one-way incessant stream of non-understandable spiteful diatribe gibberish.

Alright, so basically this is what I was thinking...

Someone poses a question they have about a belief.

And since Belief has no right or wrong

It just is

beyond the boundary of Knowledge.

I have a million of them myself, stuff that just never made any sense to me in my own mind, stuff I've always been looking for an answer for.

The main thing is I'd like to keep on topic and not move to another point before the question has been answered to the asker's satisfaction,

Some define insanity as repeatedly doing the same thing for the same reason expecting different results.

That's what we want to avoid!

so lets here it. did the/a/some god or gods create herbal substances and why?

my thoughts are that the christian god created drugs like shrooms and cannabis for our consumption. cannabis is one of the 3 principle spices used in the making of holy annointing oil. in the old testement it was burned as a sacrafice. the lord was angered because the israelites had not sacraficed it in awhile. in the wilderness the lord gave moses and the other israelites shrooms. god commanded an israelite whose name escapes me to sell cannabis at the market.

if you watch these vids it will blow your mind on some of what is said. i do not believe all of what this guy says but he has some very instersing points. if you pay attention to what he says and when the interviews took place, and what is actually going on you will be speechless.
