the one in the first 2 pic's are a female, im pretty sure anyways! So i know im looking for the right thing, BUT my biggest and pretty'est plant (last 2 pic's) isn't showing me shit! I don't know if its a male or female? can anyone please help me I don't know why this is there the same age....there are 3 plants in this area and the other slightly smaller ones i'm pretty sure are females because of the white hairs coming out. I don't know why it isn't showing nothing yet? And since the other ones are showing female does that mean they will start flowering soon or not? Any input much appreciated, thanks (:

I"ve been browsing for some time here on RIU and have officially decided to run an outdoor grow.
Here's what I've got so far:
1) Fem G13 Auto AK47 seeds VIA Attitude
2) FFOF cut with FFLW
3) Rabbit guard to keep critters out as I live somewhat out in the country.
4) Botanicare's CNS17 Starter kit and a few additives such as super thrive and Aquashield.
Here's where I am concerned:
In Texas, even north, humidity is an issue. If I plant in pots/containers outdoors, what could I use to fight bud mold?
Is it possible to manage root aphids outdoors? I feel like it would be more difficult simply due to nature.
Lastly, what size/style of pot should I use? I was thinking 3-5g grow pots/bags? Or should I use something more sturdy?
Any help, criticism or advice is welcomed. Even if harsh, this all a learning experience to me.

Happy smoking RIU

Hey everyone! So this is my first time growing this infamous "autoflowering" strain of mj, so bear with me! haha Anyway so I have a few questions about growing outdoors: What (from your experiences) is the overall "best" outdoor autoflowering strain in terms of resistance to mold, cold and average yield? What type of fertilizer should I use if I am planting them into a hole (not a pot)? And when do I apply the fertilizer? Right away or in a few weeks? Anyone ever hear of the "Pandora" autoflowering strain? Im thinking of starting up with that. Anyway, thanks a lot and sorry about writing this all in bold im having a REALLY hard time typing in this box in which I do not even know how to start a new line (usually by pressing the enter key). ANYWAY, thanks for your time hope you all can help! PH@!keykeyprert how whiwittimeimethanfey waydo And idlthe ) ceceeneeWWWwwWooFr W

Ok a couple days ago I asked about the slow growth of my seedlings. There was also a problem in which the leaves were standing straight up. I got a couple of responses saying to be patient and everything was fine. Now on both plants, ONE of the original leaves has turned yellow and died, but the new set's of leaves are coming in fresh. but as you can see on one of the plants, the leaves are drooping big time. I thought maybe from overwater but I cut down on water it's been a whole day without a serious water and no change. I have 5 more feminized seeds waiting to sprout and would like to avoid this in case it's not just bad genetics.

Some more info. They are a week and 3 days old. They are outside all day and a few more hours under 2 CFL's 6500k. They are just growing verry slow and of course the drying up of those original leaves concerns me. The soil brand is EVERGREEN. says to be derived from pine tree needles, hardwood ash, and some other type of tree also the soil in these pots were topped with a potting soil and manure compost mix at .05-.05-.05. The PH of the tap water is at about 7. I water when I feel it needs it. The top of the soil dries out super fast so it's hard to tell. I'm using a mist bottle to water it so when I water I'm not exactly sure if it's enough or too much or what. I never see excess water drain from the bottom...should I be? Idk I'm thinking a ton of things but I need to pin point the problem if there is one...or is this normal at this stage?

I appreciate any input at all hope someone can help me out. this is my first real attempt at growing and thanks for reading!

I'm always afraid of erring on the side of soil thats too hot when i'm mixing this with that. I'm about to buy some foxfarm ocean forrest... i'm thinking about cutting it by 20% with generic. any thoughts or experience with this soil? any tips on how to make a healthy awesome soil? is there a technique for portions of n-p-k and how much you'll want of each? I guess i'd like a soil that feeds throughout the whole grow... that doesn't burn my 1 month olds in the beginning. this is the general vibe of what i'm thinking. thanks
