As the clever ones might have figured out already:) this a question relating to portable vapes.
I am about to invest ( and I am willing invest in this ) in a high end or what you would call it - vaporizer, as I wanna lay of the combustion part of smoking.
Now as everyone I do have a few expectations to my new toy;

Most importantly it should be a true vaporizer - no combustion here.

Somewhat easy to take with me as I smoke daily a lot of different places.

You should be able to smoke regular hash like a nice Moroccan besides oils and full melt.

And of course high quality and efficient.

I have been looking a lot at the thermovape cera, but have yet to find somebody with actual experience in the material I have gone through. I am very curious to know if this actually vaporizes from someone who tried it ( and perhaps others ) as I know most portable devices are really mostly combustion.
Do anyone have any experience with the cera or any other great devices you can recommend ( health factors and quality being above price )?

I just wanted to let you guys in on a hot tip I first learned about from a guide for pressing dry sift from the seventies: Grocery bag plastic doesnt stick to hash or oil. At all. Even moreso than silicone. In the guide, it suggested using grocery bags to hold dry sift in while you heat and press it into bricks of hash, but I have found that it works just as well with oil.

Why is this better than silicone? Well, I notice that my oil, when stored in those silicone balls made for storing hash, very quickly smell (And taste) like plastic. This happens in any silicone product, even in my lab grade silicone containers. The problem is the mesh of the polymer is so thick that solvents used in its manufacture get trapped inside. Normally this is no concern, but if you put a lipid against silicone, it acts like a poor solvent, and gradually pulls contaminants out of the silicone. The grocery bag, however, is incredibly thin, and doesnt hold on to these solvents at all. To be extra sure, you can immerse your bag in liquid butane or in iso briefly, then dry. These very good solvents will quickly pull out any residual baddies, though honestly by the time a bag gets to you its thoroughly aired out and safe.

The best bags are the tan kind, not the white, as the white has dyes which may leach. Only use portions of the bag that have no printing and are the undyed tan. You can cut 1' squares out of most bags; I use it as a dish liner for BHO extraction and curing, instead of parchment or wax in vacuum purges, and most conveniently, to tie up bags of oil. I find this simpler than vials, which require much poking and heating, whereas a small wad of oil wrapped up in plastic is easily accessable. While the oil can begin to stick in hot temps (80 plus), just like with silicone, a quick pop in the freezer remedies this. I have successfully stored BHO for a year plus in this material with no change of taste in the oil and no change in the physical characteristics of the plastic. With silicone, even if I try to purge it in butane first to get rid of the chemicals, makes it about 2-3 days of storage before the plastic smell sets in. I primarily use a wand and concentrate bowl, and so usually theres no scorching and the oil I reclaim from the bowl is quite pure, but when I go to clean my bongs, which are occasionally used with nails as well as the concentrate bowl, the condensate is often a little scorched. Moreover, since my bongs sit out for long periods of time, the condensate within often has dust and hair particles embedded in it. All of that makes for an oil that always scorches and tastes like ass. Now, since I hate to see such high potency oil go to waste, this is what I do to clean it: A water purge.

Luckily dust, carbon soot, and other combustion products are all water soluble, while cannabinoids are not. I simply take my reclaimed oil, either scraped from inside the bowl or washed out with a solvent then dried, and get a wide mouth mason jar filled to within an inch of the top of boiling purified water (brita is fine, just not tap). The oil/wax quickly melts and forms a film on the top of the jar. While the oil floats, all the other gunk will not. I like to stir it quickly with a unbent paperclip; the thin metal heats up and keeps the oil from sticking to it. After a quick stir you may notice some dust particles and fine hairs in the water, or even a slight darkening if your oil was badly scorched. You can briefly microwave the jar to keep the water hot enough to keep the oil liquid and floating, but do not allow it to boil over. Once you are satisfied that it is sufficiently cleaned, place the jar in the freezer to cool. As the water cools, the oil will migrate to a ring around the jar at the top of the water level. Let the water become very cold, but do not let it freeze. Once it is cold and the oil is hard and brittle, pour out the water (and the contaminants), rinse the jar with some cool clean water, then scrape the oil off of the inner rim of the jar (this is why the water level is 1 inch below rim and it has to be a wide mouth jar. You can then spread this oil out under a fan to dry out the water bubbles, or just vape as is (if you vape wet it will crackle but there is no danger as its pure water, kinda feels soothing), and you will be rewarded with a vape as smooth as the original.

Enjoy! There is some loss of course with this process, but who cares, its just reclaim, right? For this reason, if you are making BHO, you must test every batch of butane you purchase, even if its from a trusted brand!

The clean plate test is very simple, and 100% effective in determining if there are any contaminants in your solvent that will not evaporate and remain in your oil. Just take a plate, pour a small amount of solvent into it, and leave it outdoors in the sun or on a double boiler until everything that can evaporate off does so. If you see a greasy puddle where the solvent was, or if you run your finger across the plate and feel any slickness, your solvent is impure. With butane, just press the nozzle agaisnt the plate upside down so a bit puddles in the middle. Because of the cold, it will pull h20 from the atmosphere, wait until these condensation droplets evaporate and the plate is room temp before you run your finger across. Its 3grams. So far I was just heating up the bottom of the container until its all completely melted and stirring it. Would that even help? Is this shatter garbage since it wasnt done right the first time or can it be saved?
