So do I understand correctly that you will be pushing PURE OXYGEN , instead of regular AIR? wow, never heard of that, VERY INTERESTING! I would guess it would add to the growth rate......speed it up much faster. |

you raise and lower it by adding more nutes, or diluting the water to wekaer nutes.

Glad you stopped by, tigershark. It is a STARTER KIT, in many ways, 1, it is a good kit to get started in learning Hydro growing. 2, it is a Starter Kit to start plants from seeds. many growers START seeds or young clones in it and then remove them later to Buckets, either buckets for just one plant or buckets for 2 or 3 plants. I use it all the way through, and many growers do. I start with 6 seed and 99% of the time, I get three females and three males, I toss the males and grow three very large Indica's, about 3 to 4 feet tall. The kit was not made or designed for more than 4 large plants. Some growers put 4, 5 or 6 clones in it. That will work. soem put 6 in it and do a fast "se of green" getting a harvest faster, but getting a smaller harvest. Keeping Size in Perspective This system was not designed to grow six 6-foot tall Christmas Trees. (Although we have grown 3 plants, 3, 4 and 5 feet tall in one tank.) We have heard a few growers tell us "I just realized that the 6 plants are going to get very crowded after they get 3 or 4 feet tall". This system was not designed for 6 giant plants. There is a reason that the tank is 21 and a half inches long and called a STARTER KIT. When this system was originally designed, many factors went into deciding what size tank and pumps to use. The main factors were economy, simplicity, stealthness, and making sure the tank would fit into the end of a small closet, out of the way and out of sight. We've heard of a few growers that try to change to a much larger tank, and realize how much more work and trouble is involved in using a larger tank and moving larger quantities of water. Draining and replenishing the water can be a major task in a much larger tank. Not only are more larger and expensive air and water pumps needed for a larger tank, but larger pumps make more noise. Draining and cleaning a larger tank is a ton of work and trouble too. If you want to go with a bigger system, then connect two tanks together. And if you want to grow large plants, then start them in the Bubbleponics System, then transfer them into the Bucketeer Large Bucket DWC system. Or do like most growers do and just grow 2 or 3 large plants in one tank by selecting and keeping the more desirable three plants and disposing of the other three. |

Big Indica leaves:
The pics are at 2 weeks after sprouting, 2 weeks 3 days and at 3 weeks. I started two seeds in dirt, the same day I started the seeds in the cubes. Notice the diference.Attached Thumbnails Root Pics, the discoloration is from the shadowing, the roots ae very white. I cut 2/3s of the roots off that plant and it thrived after I transplanted it. And in the other pic, you can see it, and the trunk of the plant was bigger than the cube was when I started it. Look at all those stalks! People are worrying too much about the cubes. Attached Thumbnails Ignorant people say you can not grow coke can colas with CFLs. Bullshit! Attached Thumbnails Harvested: Every crop I have added two bulbs more. I got 15 and half oz of dried, manicured, cured buds fromt he two tanks. I got abotu 12 oz of trim leaves, for HASH, and about two pounds of fan leaves for oil. I got 14 grams of fine high grade HASH. ![]() Attached Thumbnails Here's the proof! DOUBLE CLICK THE PICS TO SEE THEM LARGER, THEN DOUBLE CLICK THEM AGAIN! Attached Thumbnails The more stalks, the more tops!Attached Thumbnails trying a 5 gallon bucket at my friend's house:

Many growers start seeds in a wet towel, or under a bowl, anduse 5 days to sprout, take a 4 day old sprout (that is 9 days ) and place it in soil for 7 to 14 days, (that is 16 to 23 days later) then put it in a DWC system, and fill up the tank with water, so the baby one inch long roots are in the water, barely out of the cup. That is about a 3 week process, to get a root two inches long. The cube and root base is not being fed with nutrional rich water and oxygen.
In a Bubbleponics system, with a feeder tube and irrigation hub and under water pump, a seed is placed in a cube, in the cup, in the system, sprouts in 3 or 4 days and in 23 days I got a 23 inch tall plant. without the feeding tubes, I 'd have a 4 inch tall plant. 14 days: ![]() see the little plants in the dirt, in the bottom of the pic? I started the seeds in the dirt, the same exact day I startd the seeds in the system. see the difference???? 12 days: ![]() 18 days old: ![]() that's the difference!! (I over fed and got a little yellowing in that pic) |
