Also another thing. This PPM meter guide is only good for meters that are x's 5(such as Hannah meters) If u use a meter that it's conversion is x's 7, u'll need a different PPM feeding chart
M
ilwaukee Feeding chart in case ur TDS meter is x7 instead of x5 like Hannah's. Most common TDS meters are x5 like Hannah. Use this PPM chart as a guide line.
PPM Milwaukee (PPM Hanna)
Seedlings 140-350 (100-250)

Early Vegetation 420-560 ( 300-400)
Full Vegetation 630-980 (450-700)
Early Bloom 1050-1330 (750-950
Full Bloom 1400-2240 1000-1600
. Here read this.

hey, I have read that you said the bubbleponics system is a starter kit? by that do you mean that it is better for just starting plants out and vegging them? or is it a system that you can use with good results all the way through for flowering?

if the system works well for flowering, how many plants would you recommend growing in the system on average?

thanks for the info.... I am a closet grower, and have only used soil before and have recently switched over to using CFLs as well. I am very interested in the bubbleponics system and have done ample reading about it, but was just a little concerned that using 6 plants in the system might lower my net yield, relative to using 3. (side note, I wish SH would sell customizable lids for the bubbleponics system with different #'s of configurations for the net pots) bluey, was able to make his own lids, but I don't know how he did it so well

regardless, I am ordering the system and going to try out hydro-gardening. thanks for all the time and effort you guys put into this. Legends!

i would put 4 plantd max,in the BP.They can get crowded in there quick and thats not too good but not too bad either. It is simple, cut out the holes in a new lid from a new plastic box and put everything in the new one! That simple!

Couple things. I can lower my PPM by adding straight ph balanced water as the plant uses it. Do that some weeks. Start out a little on the high side and back it off as the week goes on by adding straight PH balanced water. Remember my ppm on tap water is around 325 or so. Sometimes I add a little cal-mag at that time but just 5ml. By the time the next week rolls around and I change the res they are hungry again. Big Sunday dinner for my girls and then it's back to a more sensible diet. I don't over do it (anymore) on the high side. Just get to push it a little and see how it reacts to a bigger charge.

Number of plants in the BP kind of depends on whether you know you have girls or have regular strain seeds. It you know you have girls it's 3 in a pot. I have mine one in the front center position and two in the back corners. Reverse would work too. As they grow I angle the ones in the back corners out wider and tip the front center back a little to try and conentrate the growth under my 250 watt HPS. After it shows where it wants to grow I supplement with 85 and 105Watt CFL's. Sometimes as side lights and sometimes in a far corner for a plant that decide it wants to grow over there. If you are dealing with regular seeds I'd plant 6 because on average you are going to end up with 3 females.

470 ppm is your new starting point. For seedlings don't go over about 650. Or maybe go for two weeks w/o nutes or very little. Early veg would then be 800-1000ppm.
