The plants have been vegging for unknown amount of time (I don't know, i vegged till 12" tall from clone) topped a few times and i cleared some undergrowth out for better air circ. Progress report pictures will be taken from the same POV.

Today is Day 1 of Flowering. I had them in the dark for 32 hours, and the lamp just turned on when i took this picture. Plants will run from 10pm to 10am (coolest times of the day @ 600w. I vegged mostly @ 400w)

Currently PH @ 5.73 and 1000ppm on the nose. I am using Lucas formula with GH Flora series (8ml micro - 16ml bloom per gallon)

i have calibration solution? i don't know how to answer that. i got a tri-meter that measures temp, PH and PPM.

Day 7
1100 ppm @ 5.8 PH
Lucas formula with some FF Microbe Brew and Kangaroots (i let the res get to 78f once, so benies for safe guard) had some heat stress/light burn on a few leaves when my temps breached 95+f on a hot day.

I HATE not being able to cool my plants on hot days.....I have no A/C and when the temp hits 100F here in New Mexico all I can do is watch and hope. :wall:

Yeah, i got a 14,000 BTU Portable AC unit, but when it gets hot that thing can hardly make a dent on temps in my house.

12/12 since flip of the lights. i am having a hell of a time keeping PH/PPMs in check in all 4 buckets. a RDWC system would be a wet dream for me at this point.

Day 21 12/12
1075ppm @ 5.87 ph

Hope they stop stretching Soon, my yoyo's don't go any higher and the light is 8" away from the tops. Having issues moving the plants now, also having issues with keeping PH and PPM's stable. The GreenBuds in the back have dropped to PH 5 a few times, its a daily battle and sometimes i am lazy :(

Also planning on a UCDWC Build, I have a final sketch of it.

250GPH Danner Mag drive Pump
2" Uniseals all around

Also going to make the pump returns last section (just before the Tee) out of steel, with a plastic Tee, but i am going to thread the steal so i can just turn off the pump, thread a garden hose onto the end. run other end of hose to bathtub and turn pump on and have the system drain itself for res changes etc. Also threaded Tee just before the intake and after the Valve. After draining the system, i have a 30 gallon garbage can i will PH water/mix nutes in. then just put the garden hose on the intake side of the pump to have it pump all the water back into the system. No lugging around 5 gallon buckets like a tool anymore. :D

Nice. With a faster pump and some waterfall action you could eliminate the air pump... But then it's not "UC" I guess. Uniseals are nice. Looking into something like this for next grow..

I hate uniseals and could not get them to stop leaking.

I also had ph drop and my buckets are rock stable now. there is a thread about it in the hydro section.

awesome, Thanks a tonne for that thread link. I am going to switch over to square 4 1/4 gallon buckets with bulkheads.

Ohh so its calibrated to one decimal place but still displays the hundredth place but it isn't a significant digit. So really its just calibrated to the tenth decimal place.
