Over my head...
Here's my problem...
I just started my 4th week flowering (out of recommended 10 week flower), and I vegged too long so my plant is ginormous - up to the grow light already. I'm having problems changing out my 5 gallon res. When I lift the plant to change buckets, it hits the top of the tent and I'm worried about damaging the limbs. Any helpful hints on easier ways to change the res? Also, does dwc shorten the flowering time? or am I going to have to fight with this thing for 6 more weeks?
Thanks in advance

Is there room to move the light up in heght. Is it not burning ur plant or is it cfl. R u doing single bucket or one big res. The best way to check to see if ur plant done is to check the triches. Usually toward the end of the cycle they turn amber or red. It really depend on what type of high u want couch lock or move of a booster.

Hmmm ur in a pickle.
Maybe pinch ur main stem so it bends over instead of standing up. Its not as stressful as topping but u are in flower so be gentle.
Dont legalize! Just decriminalize!!

You could drop a water pump in the bucket to pull out most of the nutes

I kinda had this problem with my last grow, although it was due to my room limitation and not plant size.
If you plan on vegging more than a month or so-- you should be doing RDWC or UCDWC to minimize plant movement during rez changes.
Your space should determine veg time. Period.

Avox: they all gave you good advice and if nothing works try this: buy some 10 lb fishing line, tie it loosely around the stems below the buds and attach crimp on weights until you gently bend the tops of your plants to keep your buds a safe distance from the lights. The key word here is 'gently' bend them. If you bend them too sharply they crimp that usually stops the flow of nutrients. That's something I had to do with my Aerogardens when my plants tried to out grow them and it worked well for me. I hope it does for you. Hank

TY everyone for the info
That did the trick Stoner! She is my first grow. Had no clue that it would take off like that. On the bright side of things there is going to be a boat load of nice sweet OG kush if i pull it off.
