Interesting. sucker fish for reservoirs. Not sure what the nutes would do to them.. kill em probably.
Has anybody tried putting an algae eating fish in your dwc buckets? if you use an orange bucket and an air pump and lights above it it should be perfect temps and theres air for it to live. and it would clean your buckets...

You shouldn't have algae in your buckets![]()
not if your using organic stuff like me. im only using plant food thats it. and alot of fish tanks use chemicals to clean the water. its not like it it doesnt kill a plant it shouldnt hurt the fish
i dont have algae but just as an all around cleaner
DWC rocks!!!!!
i would never put a fish it my bucket im sure it would die. besides that, like the other guy said, you shouldnt have algae. change your res every week. if light gets thru put black garbage bag or something that blocks light over it. light is the reason for algae growth. temps i think would be ok though. from my reading, algae eaters prefer about 77F but im sure you could lower it a bit for your plants. i know for a fact from reading and experience, you want hydro 68-72ish F i've gotten away with 74-76 however i did get a little root rot. go any higher than that and your just asking for root rot problems. most people i know seem to like 70.
MI legal caregiver. Stop the greed and learn to grow good weed! Fuck all these other so called caregivers that are full of nothing but a hunger for profit.
I use this onebigfish.jpg
I'd try Mussels or Oysters before I'd use fish. Mussels and Oysters are filter feeders, and clean the water.
