I did the heisenberg tea.. it worked and worked well. It is messy, stinky and time consuming as it expires and have to re-add or remake. I had similar results with just aquashield and voodoojuice/great white etc... so I use those with no mess, time or effort. I like things to be as simple as possible without sacrificing too much in plant growth and health.

Do your own tests, and you will probably see the same thing.

Yup, you know i use the AS as well. but he was saying he cant get the advanced/botanicare products where he lives.

yeah im in australia and bringing in anything organic or with bacteria/microbes into the country is near impossible it never makes it through customs. the hydro stores in my area dont stock anything like that either im guessing for the same reason. the best i can get is zyme products.

the good news is i have sourced a few products recently and i have made my first batch of the tea and all seems to be going well.

just wondering though heisenberg says to never feed them in the res but i noticed you do buddah and your results look great. i was wondering do you think once i made the tea and added it to my res could i feed them in there and wouldnt they continue to breed and shouldnt i get similar results to yours?

Oh ya most definitely just remember keep temps in water to low 70s if you can, for optimal results.

I just installed my (2) OG vertical hoods tonight before the lights came on and WOW these things ROCK! Much better light pattern and brighter to the eye for sure. This thing has neoprene seals everywhere so no smell gets through before carbon!! Its BLACK! Best of all the light cooling technology DOES work, before my temps were 82ish and now they are steady at 78. Nice.. I can certainly see the advantage of vertical over horizontal to the eye anyway, I was always told you want your bulbs horizontal blah blah.. well another one down the tube of fallacious truths.

oh and that reflector looks like it could be the answer for me. i have been looking into the new 830w cmh lamp but it is only available in a vertical bulb.

They have a comparison on all the hoods with 1000w.. my 600w in this hood now beats some 1000w in those "Must have" hoods. I was floored.

A friend of mine who uses raptor hoods supposedly one of the best says these OG *he bought 16* crush his raptors he "had" lol.
