Just don't do res changes. I don't I just keep topping off alternating plain water and nutes
It ain't rocket science unless you want it to be.

I personally don't like doing that, I like to clean my equipment. I have run full flower cycles with just add backs and it works but if there is a problem and I have to run a mid way flush I can do that with ease. Sometimes things go wrong and I like to be on top of it just in case.

I'm just saying it's an option and one that I've never had a problem with.

yes but rdwc is not quite the same as dwc yeah it's nice to have a control bucket but in a lot of spaces there just isn't room for one .including my own.when growng in a tight space moving plants gets hard especially with a screen in the way.and all them lines are just another chance of leaks "imo"also not good for some growers like second story apts.with my pump once i got the water mostly emptied out removing the bucket to clean is much easier, always more than one way of doing something.

i understand that and that is the reason i built my system the way it is. i think calling somebodies idea's and most of all there yields "shit" is crap when you dont read the posts! maybe you did read and just chose to phrase your words that way. i will have you know i have hit close to 2 lb's a 1kw light without a screen or co2 so i will say again "i built this for fun" and im sure it works great (which i will prove on only my second run with it). im not trying to be rude at all and have not looked at your grows, but i wouldnt talk about someone elses grow in the manner you did.

happy growing and good day to you sir

well that's funny because it says here it's a 400 watt and here's the pic i was responding to (your saying you got 2 lbs off another setup which i did not comment on wasn't being rude just stating a fact that in this pic a lot of space was being wasted and yur yields could have been much higher . 400w,DWC, mini scrog

I run a 6 site DWC with a reservoir. So technically it's anRDWC setup. Once the SCROG gets put in to place I don't / can't access each bucket. I make all my changes from the reservoir. I use a water chiller at 62 degrees and add 1/2 cup of H2O2 each week. I've never had issues with root rot and have seen about a 20-30% increase in yields using a SCROG. Although it is a lot more work.

My reservoir changes are done by using a wet/dry shop vac and sucking out the water from the reservoir. It takes about 10mins to accomplish.
