Flowering with UnderCurrentDWC

This is my first grow experience with hydro.

After researching DWC styles I decided to go with an 8 site Under Current system. I built it using 10 gallon totes @ 28" on center with 2" PVC and uniseals. To run the system I'm using a 1/4hp "EcoPlus" water chiller, a 950gph "Danner MagDrive Supreme" water pump, a 180Lpm commercial airpump pushing eight 4 foot "EcoPlus" air defusers as well as a "General Hydroponics" duel diaphragm air pump pushing a 9" air diffuser in the epicenter.

I'm using two 1000w HPS's and a 400w MH, I also might add some supplemental T5 lighting.

I'm using a 5050 BTU air conditioner and a 70 pint dehumidifier along with a number of oscillating fans.

I'll be using Supernatural nutes and STG (Sure-to-Grow) Hail as the grow medium.

I started from cuttings on 8/24/11
I placed the plants in the UC system on 10/15/11 for 36 hours of dark before lights on at 12/12.

Thanks for the Rep Jesus! When I saw the price companies want for one I figured I could build it for a lot cheeper. I love building things.

Don't suppose you could do me a quick favor please, explain how i would do a rdwc with 3 5 gallon buckets and a 5 gallon bucket a my water tank/<<<the bucket with just nutes in lol

There are so many ways to build a RDWC system but this video should give you an idea of how it works.
