Virgin Grow - RDWC, Why Not?

Short time lurker here.

Took me a bit to get this system down. Looking healthy to me now though and I think it's time to get them under 12/12 here real soon. You might not know it, but thanks for any tips I may have gleamed from this site.

whats your setup?

Running 8 5-gallon buckets linked in 2 chains with a 17 gallon res for veg under a single 400. Just flipped them to flower room with a 27 gallon res and 1000. Nice to have the construction out of the way. Now I just sit and stare.

Those plants look great man, was checking out your album as well and those are beautiful! What strain(s) are you growing? I see a couple of buckets with soil so I'm guessing you are doing both hydro and soil? Excited to hear more about this setup and count me subbed in to watch this play out +rep!

The plants in soil were grown from seed. Plan on mothering them. Babylonia Fruit and PowerKush. They are starting to get a little leggy and I'm not sure how I should prune them at this point. Probably 2 weeks from taking clones.



The run in the hydro buckets in mainly PurpleKush with a couple of TrainWreck that I got as clones. Just flipped them to 12/12 yesterday.

Alright, I got in there a bit early and got some pics before the sun came up.

Nothing really new expect for some spots on a few leaves. Will have to figure out what that is now. After 1 week of 12/12.

10 days into flower.

Had to spread them out a bit. Pretty much running out of room at this point.

Just wanted to let u know that my 1st grow with the PK, i used Humboldt Honey Hydro ES, and flavorful and they really seemed to love it. This time around i haven't used it cuz it was clogging my pump up, and they're not nearly as big and fat on the top. So I'd suggest making sure u use some kind of carbo based additive =)

Looks like a really clean setup.

Yeah things are definitely going better on this second run. The clones I just planted have doubled in size and I still have at least 4 weeks for the flower room to open up. Might have to flip them under the 400 MH for the first couple of weeks of flowering before I can get them under the 1000. Topped them last night and will probably top them again in a week or so. Then to learn about training the ladies.

I think I have things much more dialed this second go round. Here is day 1 and day 8. I'm gonna need a bigger boat........
