If you're using CFL's you can probably drop those lights down to just 3-4 inches from the plants and you'll get a few extra lumens to your plants that way. I let my plants touch the lights sometimes, CFL's don't really get that hot. I've noticed that if the lights are right on top of the plants they grow short but bushy as hell. I dunno what you're aiming for but I definitely want as many nodes as possible.

yes it looks like excessive nute burn but the plants dont seem to have a dark green blueish hue to them so it cant be nitrogen toxity i would dump the res use ph water a bit of superthrive an jus a bit of base nute maybe 3/4 strength , try them on that for a few days an see if they start to recover if the leaves start to yellow a bit you could allways up it ,with plants that big the root mass should be pretty big by now you should have roots in the water , just try the ph water bit superthrive an 3/4 strength nutes mate it cannot do any harm just till they get a bigger root mass peace

Notes:
- First week of Veg. and Flower I do not use Hygrozyme, I want the beneficial bacteria from the Microbe Brew to breed bacteria first, week 2 and on I supplement with Hygrozyme to add beneficial enzymes, as well as to compliment the beneficial bacteria made from the Microbe Brew

- Week 5 & 6 I use fewer nutrients because I want to prepare the plants for flush. By reducing the nutrients, I am able to prepare the plants for flush where they will not receive any N-P-K. I believe this will reduce shock as well as stress during the flush phase.

- I flush only twice during the entire grow, once when transitioning into flower and once at the end of flower to flush out all the nutrients. It is not necessary to flush every week or even every 2 weeks because all the dead root matter and bacteria will be consumed by the hygrozyme and ultimately benefit the plant. I flush with sweet and Microbe Brew at week 7 flower for taste, it is said that beneficial bacteria helps in developing the taste of the flowers.

- I prefer Fox Farms Microbe Brew to Great White due to Microbe Brew being in liquid form. It probably does not make a difference but I prefer to supplement with liquid supplements in RDWC to decrease the chances of clogging. I am still debating whether the pros outweigh the cons in this situation.

- In DWC you are able to flush at a faster rate than in soil, the rate is 10-14 days but with Clearex I will be able to flush in 7 days no problem.

- I do not use Superthrive in Flower because during the Flowering phase plants do not require a large amount of Nitrogen, Superthrive is Nitrogen rich and will not significantly benefit the plants.

PLEASE Criticize and Advise all you want. My brother and I put alot of time, moneys, and effort to get this whole project up and going...we would appreciate any insight!

I hope you harvest a lot, with the money you're going through in nutes. That really seems to be excessive, but then again I have never flowered in DWC. (I am vegging two currently) I am planning on using lucas formula and saving a ton....
