well, i figured now that i am officially showing buds forming i would make a post over here and show off what ive been working on lately... i am a medical grower in michigan, and this is my first grow ever. i am using:
dyna-gro grow (using foliage pro next round)
humboldts micro
dyna-gro bloom
dyna-gro protekt
rhizotonic
cannazym
AN's nirvana
using tap water, it comes out @110ppm... i had originally had my grow in the closet, but after the first day i ended up having to run out and buy a tent, and another inline fan (6" vortex)... here are some pics for you to check out, if you want the whole story, please hit up my journal, and leave some feedback, i will update this thread from time to time, but it will not get the daily journal entries my other one gets...
im using a 30 gallon cooler for my reservoir, 16 x 12" airstones, 8 dual outlet pumps that are on a battery backup that will run them 6-8 hours... i have a 4" inline for air intake, and 6" vortex for exhaust... i also have a t5 in a closet for my clones which are in a homemade bubble cloner... i use the bluelabs truncheon wand for EC, and a milwaukee ph pen... ive battle mites a couple times, and azamax is the fucking business, so is gardensafe fungicid3... also, if you are going to sub to anything please make it my journal...
my main goal is to grow very good meds, and to control as many variables as i can to be as consistent with my results as possible. i will be scaling up my grow significantly this winter, and again mid summer next year... here are the pics, take care, and thanks for viewing:

thanks, i have been very pleased with dyna-gro. the only issue i have is the grow formula is a little low on the N, but if i woulda knew better i would have bought the foliage pro. its ok though it has been good practice adjusting my NPK values to what everything needs. also having the grow around and adjusting the N up or down is kinda nice for when im going to step down the N for later flower...
in the bubble cloner? we were using h202, but i think we have an issue with slime starting, my girlfriend is going to clean the res with h2o2 tomorrow, and do a res change and let the roots soak in some h2o2 for a bit... if there is still an issue when i get home in a few days i will treat them with physan20...

it is a screen, its used in scrog (screen of green) growing... it allows you to train your plants sideways to allow light to hit more of the plant evenly, and you get to train your nodes up to have a larger amount of smaller colas, instead of having 1-5 large colas...
im starting my first dwc grow....just waiting on some germing seeds...ive thought about doing a scrog grow this time around..ive got all i need to make a perfect screen...i will even be able to mount my lights on it...but the only question ive had about it is res changing....how much of a hassle is it to do res changes...and how do you go about doing it...i have to take my res completely out of my grow area to change out the solution.after it starts going through the screen...how do you take the res out without having to pull all of the branches through the screen...then have to feed then back through the screen
