Well two days after placing the seedling in the starter pot on 18/6 light cycle a sprout has emerged. it has not shed the shell yet but at the rate of growth it shouldnt be long
Hello everyone this will be my first bubbleponic grow so any advice would be helpful. i have already germinated one seed i have four more plus five easy ryder fem seeds so i am doin a test run with just one gnomo to see how it goes before i bump it up to three plants at a time.
Set up consists of
18 gallon tote
240 gph water pump
Elite 802 air pump
1 12" airstone
1 6" bubble wand
90 watt UFO LED
GH Maxi grow nutes
Adv. Big Bud
H202 29%
ok now that we have the formalities out of the way lets get down to the method i am using. ( big thanks to Roseman for some great information )
I germinated my first of five Gnomo Automatic seeds it took about a day and a half for get a 1/4" tap root grow i then transfered into seed started pots instead of rockwool because i didnt want to mess around with the ph balancing of the cubes i have them just not using them at the moment.
Im starting the light cycle at 18/6, and i will be adding a 1/8 strength nute solution when i get the first set of true leaves.

Ok so my little gnomo automatic is now about 6 days old started her on a 1/8 strength nute solution she seems to be doing jus fine hopefully in about another 20 days i will have some budding pics to share.
Hahaha I just so happen to have the same setup as you 90w led, 18gal tote, growing with bubbles. My advice to you is keep a eye on your water temp that toat sucks at keeping the water cold personaly I upgraded right befor I flowered and am ueseing a big ice chest its easter to keep the water temps down with it
Hope that helps
yea i know exactly what you mean im currenty using sterilized plastic bottles so i dont introduce any contaminates to the water. Im currently looking for an igloo cooler because it has a drain valve built in and it will keep the water nice and cool. im also getting rid of the air stones and going with a water diffuser itll make waaaaay more bubbles and i looooove me some bubbles lol
hey, ive got 2 10" strips of bubble rock and it works v. well, its all about the air pump. looks great! ill be followin along, am very excited to see these gnomo. they were the seeds i planned on ordering for my next attempt here soon.
Hey everyone just giving an update the little gnomo is growing very rapidly now 12 days old from seed. I had to move rooms for security reasons so the plant went into shock and the newer leaves started to curl inward but i had a checklist to go down, the ph is roughly around 5.5 to 6, low strength nutes at the moment so its not nute burn, i think it was just the temperature change the plant had to ajust to but here are some new pics
Well here is my girl 3 weeks in. She is growing very fast i think i might be giving her a lil to much water but she seems to be doing fine any suggestions?
Tell me what you have to say.
dayummm...nice fat, thick leaves.
all i got to say other than that is cut back on water a little bit...over watering can stunt growth
peace
