reverse dwc?

I wanted to use this thread to cover two questions i had...

When doing a dwc is there a maximum amount of time allowed to drain your res?

because here is my 2nd question..

what if I had a dwc that instead of keeping filled I would just keep it empty and fill the res every hour or 2?

do you think i could expect better growth rates or poo?

You're going to fill it and add new nutes every hour or two? Why would there be a perceived advantage in that? If you want roots to be in the air a lot go with aeroponics.

Why would you want to drain the res for two hours? You seem to be describing Ebb & Flow, although a lengthy version at best.
