alright i just bought this ph controller from stealth hydro (click here) and i am absolutely amazed. it works extremely well keeping the ph level in my bubbleponics setup at the exact right ph all the time. alright to start things off i will explain how it works. basically it is a ph meter which will mesure ph levels constantly but the difference is that on the ph meter their is a plug in wire which hooks to a pump in a resivour full of ph down or up and when the ph level gets too high/low it will kick on this pump which will pump in water automatically balancing the ph levels. it was very simple to put together. i would sugest it to any new grower like myself so you dont have to play the ph game and just let the system do its magic.after shipping and everything it costed 345 for the ph controller and resivour as well as the bubbleponics 6 planter. i would give it a 5 out of 5. if anyone has any more questions about it feel free to ask.

Ya I know it is so awesome. With instructions (I didn't get any) it is very easy and simple to set up. One major thing is make sure the ph resivour is lower than the planter or it will syphon all the water into the 6 planter (speaking from experience lol)

Once you learn how your water reacts to your nutes & liquid down or up, keeping your water within tolerance is rather simple.

$345 to keep your pH balance is a bit much, IMHO.

Honestly I think it is really cool and works amazing. Yes it is a little pricey but also it can be modified to work with much larger systems. also it could be good. If you can't get to the planter to adjust the ph for a day or two.

yah thats crazy... still dont understand how it works...dont you have to set the PH in the the RES?

Ok then ill try to explain it a little better. You have the planter tank with the 6 net pots with a ph level of 5.9 and you have another tank with a ph level that is very low (not sure the level) how it works is that when the tank with 5.9 raises to say 6.0 then the meter turns the pump on moving the ph down water to the tank with 6.0 until the tank reaches 5.9 ph again. You just set it to the ph level that you want to keep in the tank. At the moment I have mine set to 5.9. It can also work in reverse as well (I'm not really sure y the ph would drop but I'm sure it is possible) in that case you would fill the tank with the ph up instead of down and when the ph levels get too low it will turn the pump on and raise it back to the norm

that looks interesting, but what happens when the unit keeps adding ph up or down and then your res solution reacts all at once and crashes or spikes? and if your ph bucket only contains down what does it do when you have to raise the ph and vice versa? it is a good idea I think but ph is a little finicky and depending on what kind of water your using I think it could cause some people some problems. and what happens when it takes a considerable amount of phd water to be added and it raises the water levels to high in your res. keep us posted on how it goes for sure. goodluck.
