ok let say i have a 8 gallon rez at 6.0 and i want to adjust to 5.5 and so i adjust it, then when i test it and it reads 4.0 can i keep adjusting it until i get to 5.5?

Yeah, happened to me plenty of times. I put too much PH down in the rez. Just pour some tap water in it a lil bit at a time and then re-test it incrementally till it's where you want it to be.

? dont want to change my water level but i guess it all the same? won't hurt the plants?

Yeah bro and your also gonna notice that in a small reservoir your PH is gonna chnage every 2-3 days...usually going up...5.7-5.8 is perfect for all nutrient uptake...keep adjusting till you get it where you want it...

so adjusting it at rez change more then .5 will not hurt the plants but just when the ph is running constituency for a couple of days!?

From my experience, your ph will line itself out after a few days. Don't get upset if it's a lil too high or low. Shouldn't affect a healthy plant. Your on it and aware of checkin it, so you should be good. Just keep it consistant if anything. Too much more than 1 point one way or the other is negative IMO.

i have a 25 gal res usin foxfarm products .....an aquarium with 4 plants....my ph drops to around 5 and has to be adjusted daily back to 6

ya i have the other problem going to high and adjusting down

was thinking if ppl have stress by ajusting 1 point within mins of rez change

adjust to 6.0
10 min later 7.0
adjust back to 6.0 ect........?
