Default Standard DWC cab w/ HID
Hey guys. I know I rarely post on here, and I can only assume that affects my credibility, so here's a peek at my set-up.
I've been hovering around the boards soaking up information for the most part.
I consider this is my first real grow. My first was a tiny makeshift cab with tons of problems. The second was a poor choice of location. And the experience wrought from those begot the following.

Two 250 watt bulbs in a Sunlight Systems II reflector (modified to hold two bulbs, one is not on right now) vented by a 4"
centrifugal fan, intake is 6". The one that is on is a 6500k. The one not on is a 3000k, and I have a third 1500k for flower.

Primary ventilation is a 400 cfm 6" centrifugal fan sucking through a carbon filter, air comes in through that blue A/C filter you see.

DWC Res holds ~10-12 gals, 6 airpads/stones feed bubbles with the help
of a 2.1 PSI airpump w/ manifold (don't recall the other specs)

The red cups are a place holder for a dud, blocking light from the res.

Group shot of the 5. ~12 days old out of the ground. The one in the middle in back looks like he's got some version of cannabis down's syndrom.

I want to veg these until I can determine sex, then cut clones and go from there, so *perfect* health isn't a priority. However, I think I burned my plants by adding nutes too early, and though they've stabilized they look less than well. I was hoping I could get some comments/advice/constructive criticism.
Leaves curled back at first, new growth yellowing with brown spots appearing at the tip. This I took to be burn (PPM was 250+, plants were only 6-7 days old)drained the res and reset with pH adjusted distilled water. Plants grew for 3 days before slowing down, then leaves started point upward, and the brown spots and paling got worse on lower leaves and spread to the newer growth.

Distilled water w/ Dutchmaster Veg A&B
Res temp: 76 F
Ambient temp: 73-82 F
PPM: 208
pH: 6.7 (I know this is high, getting it to drop past this has been it's own battle)

It took a while to post some credit, but it's nicer being part of the community than letting paranoia steer me away.
Cheers.

Just an update. pH seems more stable now, though still fluctuating by .5 a day or so. Spotting and curling continues but does not appear lethal. Looks like a mg or zinc def, added some epsom salts, we'll see how that goes.
Hope to get some more pics up when there's progress worth showing.
Feel free to comment scardy cats.
