Default how big of a water pump would i need???

im plan on doing a ebb and flow system using a 7 gal res... well actually more like 5 or 6 gal res cuz its not ganna be filled to the top... and its ganna be flowing into 2 separate 2 gal containers... or i might be able to find a bigger res like 10 gal or 12 gal... and then use the 7 gal to grow in instead of the 2 smaller ones... any one have an idea of what size water pump im ganna need to use... if i do 2 smaller containers i need 2 pumps.. but i rather do one pump one grow container ..... thnx in advance...

I've only done single ebb and flow buckets, but it really doesn't take much. You can get a little bit stronger pump at Home Depot in the pond section, but they get pricey. Btw, this is a DWC/Bubbleponics forum bro. That's why the few responses.
P.S. I would do a single Pump system to keep things simple, the water will find it's way to where it needs to go just the same. =)
