First Time Bubble Grow - lots of pics frm strt to now!

The growth I've seen in my set up is amazing and completely blows my soil grow away, no doubt! And my set up is not at all legit lol its lacking alot of what is "required" to have a successful grow but is still thriving!

Im sure once I get the meters, full line up of nutes, and my CFL light fixture on point these buds will grow hella nice!

On another note, I can NOT clone! Ive tried a few times and each time has been FAILURE! I understand how its supposed to be done but It just doesnt work for me.

Questin though, Ive read a few times, cant recall where, that clones wont grow to be the same as the plant you take the cutting from in regard to size, potency, etc. Is that true? If thats the case then Illl just start from seed each time!

I cloned a fem LSD and it was shorter but that may have been the fact that I flowered at 12" rather than 14-16" but otherwise it was an exact copy and the buds are as potent as the mother maybe better because I learned what the plant liked nute wise the second time around. Did clone the clone with equal success.

Cloning take hella patience, a little luck and timing. Also some strains are a B to clone so don;t get discouraged. I used a daisy cloner the last couple fo times but I have a mystic cloner for this go round, thanks to RM. I can do 16 plant sites now so the 18 plant capacity of the cloner will be perfect.

Awesome I guess Ill just keep trying it out. I got some cloning powder from lowes and a bunch of 1x1 rockwool cubes (200 of em, ebay lol) so Ill ry till I get it right!

What do you think og this light set up?

I hesitate to buy any lights used. They may light up but in some cases the lumens are shot. For about the same price you can get this:

I've have 250 HPS only but the same brand, hood, etc. Puts out some heat but not unmanagable. Think you can manage a little heat in the grow room?

Yea heat shouldnt be an issue, ive got a big fan in there now and can add more, if need be i can open the closet doors to let the heat disperse.

I would love to upgrade to some HIDs! Just need to get all my other supplies in check too, mostly nutes.

does the 250 make the buds more dense than the CFLs alone?

In my opinion, yes. It makes the buds denser as a reaction to the increased light availability.

My T5 was 350.00 at a hydro store. I think I got hosed but I didnt know any better then.

Ok so I thnk my plan is buy some bloom nutes today and maybe a ppm/tds meter when I get paid, than 2 weeks from now Ill get me a HID set up so I can stick it in there for the last part of the grow.

I put them into 12/12 yesterday and stuck the 2500K 42watters in there for them. theres 4 42watters and 2 26watt daylights.

What do you think of that set up?

Ill probably get some more 42 watters today from HD.

Trick with cfl's and production is to fit as many in as you can. They make handy side lights for HID lights also.

IF you flowering with CFLs only, you have to get the bulbs VERY close to the top colas and place a bulb on each side of the buds to grow a bud dense. Those 42s 2700k bulbs are cheap and easy to hang all over the plants.
