Ok, so about 4 days ago I started germinating my seeds in rockwool. The first one came up very fast and healthy, the others are coming up but have slowed. In the past two days or so it seems the growth has pretty much stopped. Right now I have them in my DWC system.I am using about 3 26 watt daylight CFLs The water is a correct PH, the temp is about 75 and humidity 35%. I still have the smallest of the three under a dome for humidity; its humidity is about 65. My question is why has the growth slowed so much? Thanks for the help

well all the conditions are optimum so it's probs something wrong with the system itself, like overwatering. What is the water level in the dwc? remember you want the bubbles breaking just below the netpots, so the mist is wicked up by the hydroton onto the rockwool

the water is probably about 3-4 inches from the pots, I lifted a pot up this morning to check water level and there was definetly alot of water on the pot. Overwatering was one of my worries too as dripped a little extra on top the last few nights. Is three 26 watt CFLs enough? I have more ready to add I just didn't want to give the seedlings too much.

And if it is overwatering is there any quick fix other than just giving them time to dry?

26ks are fine for the first week or so but after that you're gonna want stronger lighting.

The water is 3-4inches from the bottom of the netpots and they are still dripping wet? Are you using a real dwc or a bubbleponics system?

If it is overwatering then adjust the level of the water in dwc, or the manifold output in a bubbleponics system accordingly and leave them be, they'll bounce back soon enough.

Some rhizotonic or superthrive would speed up the process if you have any

I am using a DWC. there is no water being pumped directly to the roots if that is what you are asking. I have 2 six inch airstones in a 14 gallon tank so they are producing alot of bubbles and vapor. I just checked and it might be closer to 2-3 inches away from the water.

well as long as the bubbles are breaking on the bottom of the netcups then it's not going to be overwatering. Are the leaves drooping at all?

Thus it may well be the weak light intensity. how far away are the cfls?

Yea the leaves are a little droopy, one of the plant's 1st set of leaves have curled under. I just got a few more lights going so hopefully that will help. And I checked again and on one pot the entire bottom side is wet from vapor

is your water ro? distilled? tap? I found that I needed cal mag with the distilled I was using. My plants didn't grow for a few weeks til I finally read about ro and distilled not having any minerals in them. The cal mag worked well for me.
