The leaves are plenty green, any yellow appearance is just the light and me trying to compensate for it. I'm talking about the tips of the leaves turning brown and crispy. I think maybe the Nitrogen level is too high and it's Nitrogen burn. Anyway, they're flushing right now. So much for the one-reservoir change experiment...

wow week 7. they must be sativa right? they are very sexy, lots of trichomes. i love how they grow/press againt the screen growing still verticle. if your at week 7 it looks like you mihgt have 11-12 weeks flowering. kick ass man.

have you harvested this grow yet? if so how much per plant did you get? It looks like you combined the scrog technique with the vertical light is this your first scrog or cage grow?

Yeah, I'm thinking 4-5 more weeks.

Well, I drained my reservoirs and flushed overnight. Here I am draining the flush water from the top reservoir to the bottom reservoir and through the pump to a bucket:




The flush water barely rose 30ppm’s overnight, so I don’t think there was much salt buildup. I don’t know, I’m starting to think the tip burning is due to a potassium deficiency; potassium is necessary for the plant’s water transport and these plants are probably transpiring heavily. It’s about 86* next to the light:




So I bumped up the Hammerhead and am going to see if I can get the pH to stabilize around 5.8; potassium becomes more available at lower pH.

Here’s what it looks like all buttoned up:



Notice the two tubes coming out of the top; I recently added two cheap co2 generators. I’m hoping they will help keep the buds dense in the higher temps:



There are buds growing all the way up to the cool tube. It’s hard to see the layering because of all the fan leaves; I tucked a few out of the way so I could show how the buds are layered. It’s pretty much like this all the way around the light:

I'm starting to wish I didn't do that water change; I'm having a hard time getting the pH and ppm's to stabilize. Should have left well-enough alone...
