The best would be some of the diffusers out there but they are very expensive. I get 12 inch stones from Meijer for $3. They are the kind that is all stone and not stone inlaid in plastic. I always have extras around and I check them often and switch them out if they aren't producing well. I use new ones to begin each grow.

The size of the netpots will make no difference. The action of the bubbles can still be controlled with the methods at the beginning of the thread.

I guess I need to get that pump you listed, looks like the best deal on the net.
No.. It is not the best deal.

You can get the same brand (Sunleaves) with a significantly more powerful pump (950 instead of 600) at a slightly lower price ($35 instead of $37) here:

That is more pump for the money. I'd like to try one. Depending on the size of the res though, it might be too much. It's hard but it is possible to get too much bubble action. This pump would be great for a multi bucket setup. Looks like it would drive 2 large stones each in 3 buckets very well. Thanks for the link!

You're welcome

As for the power of it. I dont think its too strong. the pump comes with a six-outlet air divider, but that can easily be reduced with a simple DIY plug. I have it in a 4'x4' DWC with 6 of these air "stones" (more like air tubes) and its just perfect. These things are great IMO, you can bend them into whatever shape/position you need them to be in. And they are pretty affordable too ($4-$7 each depending on the length).

Permeable Flexible Air Stones are a great way to aerate your growing system. The flexible stones bend into any shape you need to deliver air where you need it most, they also create less back pressure than traditional air stones, which reduces damage to your pump.

Anyhow, thanks for your many great and helpful posts.
