Just thought I'd take some close-ups to show you all some trichomes. I'm noticing that the one plants has very reddish hairs. Has anyone seen this before? Do you think they will stay this color throughout flowering? Also, I took a pic of a huge leaf that fell off today. I just thought it was cool.

I've seen all sorts of colors on hairs. LSD have pink and a few red. They pretty much stay that way until they ripen and then die to a burnt orange or red. Pheno's in action.

Yeah I've seen it on some sick strains. Does the red color mean anything or is it simply just a different phenotype that doesn't display anything about the potency of the bud?

Haven't done any reseach on that but I would say it is just strain related. LSD seems to color up on just a few hairs per bud and the rest stays a very white white to the point that even though the trichs say yes the hairs say no but I go by the trichs and have not been disappointed.

red hairs are strange to me, only this far into Flowering.

Nutes? Lights? or the Strain?

It must be the strain because only one plant has red pistils. On Friday, only the two main tops had red pistils but now the lower bud sites are starting to get the color too. I really hope they keep this color all the way to the end.

So today marks 33 days since switching to 12/12 and I decided to do a thorough picture update. I got a little creative and kinda spliced some pics together. Let me know what you think. Pic 1 is of the whole tent. Pic 2 is my medium girl at about 38". Pic 3 is my red plant, the smallest at 36". Pic 4 is the tallest girl at 50". Finally, Pic 5 is an upskirt shot of my the tall girl .
