Hey everyone.. im somewhat new to these forums so Im going to try and spit out my current grow. Most of the ideas for this grow came from reading this forum.. and working with my budget and space and such.

Anyway.. this BB/Skunk grow will be my 2nd, although I have not finished my first yet. However, the first grow was started from a rooted clone.. so it was basically plug it in and go. The clone was what we were told is Super Silver Haze.. but I have no real way to confirm that. However, she is in her 2nd week of flowering and is giant. She got much larger than I was really expecting to.

Ok.. so back to the BB/Skunk. The were germinated in a damp paper tower in between 2 paper plates in the attic above my grow space yesterday (4/16). One BB opened up today (4/17) as well as one Skunk. Both were placed in some rockwool that has been soaked overnight in distilled water. They were then placed into a 3" net pot with some hydroton and placed into a propogation dome. They will be moved into my vegetation room as soon as my order from wormsway.com gets here.

I also currently have 3 clones in a vegetation chamber.. but they are going to friends. The chamber has a 3 site bubble system that I made out of a small rubbermaid bin.. shoebox size. 2 foot long airstones and the only 2 outlet fishtank air pump at wally world. Ill post more pics of that soon.

Once the clones are moved out fo the vegetation room I will put the seeds under there. It has 6 16w daylight cfls in it. Also.. once my order gets here it will also be lined with mylar.

Anyway, the pics attached are my SSH haze plant in its 2nd week of bloom, the BB and Skunk seeds in their little rockwool homes inside the propogation dome, the clones inside the vegetaion chamber (not completely finished). And another shot from the top of the vegetation chamber where the exhaust fan will be once I get around to ripping it out of my old desktop .

-Water pump with drip ring set up around stalk of plant.
-Flora Nova grow, BC Bloom, FloraMicro nutes.
-400w Sunleaves Pulsar light system.. 400w MH and HPS.

Future setup: (BB and Skunk grow)
-18 Gallon rubbermaid with 4 grow sites.
-Sunleaves 600 GPH air pump to 4 round air stones.
-Rockwool/Hydroton medium.
-B.C Boost, B.C Bloom, B.C Grow, Thrive Alive B-1 Red, Thrive Alive B-1 Green, Awesome Blossoms, Root 66, MagiCal, and SugarDaddy nutes. Hoping for massive ass buds .
-Same 400w lighting system.

have you just been using cfl bulbs?
i am on my first dwc grow

To start this out.. how I made the vegetation chamber:

Step 1: Tools. All I used was an razor blade/boxcutter, a sharpie, screwdriver, and thats about it. If you do not have any of these.. get them from wherever.

Step2: Obtain 2 18 gallon rubbermaid rubs (wally world, big lots, whatever), a small desk fan that you can take apart (I used the little "Hawaiian Breeze" fan in target for 10 bucks. 3 porcelain lite fixtures, 3 y splitter light bulb adapter, 6 daylight cfls (mine are 16 watt I think). You will also need wire (I use black and white only) and any of the mentioned tools from step 1 you dont have. All of this can be had from home depot or lowes. You will also need Mylar, but if you dont have any or whatnot.. you can get chrome reflective spray paint from home depot. Just make sure you get plastic primer as well, because the chrome wont stick otherwise.

Step 3: Take apart your fan... Ive already done it so no picks.. but its pretty simple. Once you have it broken apart take the the back half of the cage and trace a circle on the bottom of either long side of the tubs. I used a sharpie.. but you can use whatever you want. Now take your razor and cut this circle out.

Step 4: Take the lid from one box and cut out the inside of it. But leave enough "meat" on the outside rim so you can still attach it to a tub.

Step5: Attach the lid you just cut UPSIDE DOWN on the tub that has not had a circle cut in it.

Step 6: Attach your fan cage to the hole you drilled in a matter so that when you attach the motor to the cage it will be moving air inside the box. I then layed the tub in between 2 chairs outside for the goop to dry.

Step 6.5: cut a small hole in the top of the other tub for wiring to fit through.

Step 7: Attach the porcelain fixtures to the bottom of the tub without the fan in it. This means that if you look down into the tub, you want to be looking at the fixtures.

Step 8: Make sure you connect all of the brass screws on the fitting to each other and all of the non-brass screws to each other. I belive this is called paralell wiring?

Step 9: I used a replacement power tool cord i accidently bought some time ago and never used to wire all the lights to a grounded plug.

Step 10: Insert y adapters into fixtures and bulbs into adapters.

Step 11: Plug in lights to make sure you got it right. If you did excellent. If you didnt time to and come back later and fix it.

---Thats where I am now... Ill post the rest of it once some stuff I ordered arrives and it gets finished finished.

I have not. My current large lady has been under a 400w her entire life. First Metal Halide then to High Pressure Sodium.

However, I feel that light is to strong for weak seedlings and such so I am using CFL's for my veg chamber.

Also, nice setup you have got going there. Looks pretty smooth. Are you going to have more CFLs eventually?

no just the 2 24 watt and 1 150 watt hps

I missed the hps the first time I read your thread. Youll be fine. Just make sure you keep track of your ph and such.

Day 3: all 3 seeds have now cracked.. both BB and the skunk also germed. Moved the 2nd BB seed into the propogation dome as well.

looki ng good im using 4 cfl 20watt 2700warm white with a 2liter bucket with a fish tank bubbler no airstone and homemade co2 yeast n sugar

so how is that home made co2 working out?have you grown any in the past and had this be successful?
what is the recipe exactly?

Sounds like youll get a nice little personal stash going. What seeds/clones did you use?

When I brew some beer here soon ill be putting the fermenter in my grow room to put off some co2.

Day 4: All three seeds are growing and have their first node. Giant ass SSH plant is still.. well.. huge. 3 SSH clones put into flowering light cycle last night. Will be adding some B'cuzz rooting solution in probably 1/3 or 1/4 dose. Once their roots are larger they will be getting a stronger dose and all that.
