I found this fan wiring to a basic 9v battery and thought i would share the info

you can do that or depending on if you can find one, and what model, the power supply unit that comes with your pc, stick a piece of wire in the 24 pin and 20 pin, thats basically what the switch on your motherboard does, then you have at least 4 12v supplies for fans...tis what i did.

i hooked mine up to a usb cable i split the cable and hooked the fan up to the red and back wire and runs perfect
