Default Dryer sheet carbon filter
ok so i taped two dryer sheets with duct tape on three edges and fill the pocket you just made with activated carbon. then just seal up the last edge with more tape and your done.. i attached it to the exhaust hole on my grow box. works great on the smell without restricting air flow to much.

Whats a dryer sheet. Its the thing you put in the dryer to prevent static and such. Like the bounce sheets?? Just checking, better safe the sorry

It's not my thread but the way i understand it you never want your carbon wet, and i am pretty sure he means dryer sheets like bounce yes.

Don't know seems to me your putting your fan at risk. That much tape in a heat situation and force of the fan is going to come apart at some time. Seems soon you'll be picking carbon out of your bushings and armature. Get a can and bite the bullet. My security is worth it!
