Only mods/admins could answer that question. If this were a phpBB board I would be more familiar with the different hacks. I would REALLY like to see those pictures, or get a better description of what he was doing with the containers that he was using for collection at least. Maybe this is a time for fdd2blk.. or Garden Knowm (now there's a guy I haven't seen online for a while). His last POST, that I can find, was Aug. 1 '07.

In a nutshell, yes. But you'll get all your buds all full of seeds, and you don't have much control over what crosses, with whom, or when. If you want to keep specific strains, and keep them pure or do your own crossing, or trying to create a strain, you must be able to control which plants fertilize which plants.

I made a quick diagram based off videoman's initial post. I had to think about the whole cup thing for a minute to figure it out. The diagram is cheesy but I think it gets to the point. Let me know if im wrong on it.



Once the pollen collects on the beer cup you just use a brush or q-tip as suggested to apply it to a few buds.
